Project Manager
We are in search for a Project Manager with experience providing technical engineering design of residential and commercial land development projects.
Responsibilities
Manage project planning, design, construction management, and closeout support phases for multi-discipline, minor and complex projects involving utilities, drainage, grading and erosion/sedimentation control
Provide leadership and direction
Develop schedules and, actively, emphasize priorities, deadlines and quality to team members
Have a complete understanding of all required plans and specifications per project
Assist other project leads with proposals as well as workload and budget projections
Monitor the community and look out for business development and networking opportunities
Relevant experience and skills
Civil Engineering, 10+ years (Preferred)
Project Management, 3+ Years (Preferred)
Project history in the City of Austin and surrounding areas
Versed in reading and interpreting regulatory code/ordinance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to visualize and sketch in 2D and 3D
Understanding of various types of software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, WaterCAD and knowledge of what is required to provide direction to other users of the software
Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines
Demonstrate ability to be flexible and quick to adapt to changing conditions
Ability to manage, supervise, schedule, and delegate on large and complicated projects
Education
BSCE and PE License in the state of Texas
